DIY Your Dream Clock: Create a Stunning Cricut Mandala Clock in Just 10 Steps!
Step 1: Gather the Supplies
Before you get started on your Cricut Mandala Clock, you'll need to gather the supplies. For this project, you will need: a Cricut Maker, a 12 clock face, a 12 clock hands kit, adhesive vinyl, transfer paper, a scoring tool, and a Mandala design from Cricut Design Space. Make sure to have all of these supplies on hand before you get started.Step 2: Prepare the Clock Face
Once you have the supplies, you'll need to prepare the clock face. Start by using a scoring tool to score and clean the edges of the clock face. This will help to ensure that your vinyl adheres smoothly to the surface of the clock face.Step 3: Choose and Upload Your Design
Next, you'll need to choose and upload your Mandala design to Cricut Design Space. You can find a variety of Mandala designs in the Cricut Design Library, or you can design your own. Once you have chosen your design, upload it to Design Space and adjust the size to fit your clock face.Step 4: Cut the Vinyl
Once you have uploaded your design to Design Space, you can cut the vinyl. Load the vinyl onto your Cricut Maker and select the correct settings for cutting. Once the vinyl is cut, carefully remove it from the Cricut and place it on the clock face.Step 5: Apply the Vinyl to the Clock Face
Now that you have cut the vinyl, it's time to apply it to the clock face. Start by using transfer paper to transfer the vinyl from the backing to the clock face. Make sure to press firmly and apply even pressure. Once the vinyl is in place, use a ruler and razor blade to trim any excess vinyl.Step 6: Add the Clock Hands
Once the vinyl is applied to the clock face, you can add the clock hands. Start by assembling the clock hands according to the instructions in the kit. Once the clock hands are assembled, attach them to the clock face and secure them with a screwdriver.Step 7: Add the Clock Movement
Next, you'll need to add the clock movement. The clock movement is the mechanism that powers the clock and makes it tick. Place the clock movement on the back side of the clock face and secure it with the included screws.Step 8: Secure the Clock Hands
Once the clock movement is in place, you can secure the clock hands. Use a screwdriver to tighten the screws on the clock hands. Make sure to tighten them securely so that the clock hands don't move.Step 9: Hang the Clock
Now that the clock is fully assembled, you can hang it up. Use the included hardware to hang the clock on the wall. Make sure to hang it securely so that it doesn't fall off.Step 10: Enjoy Your Creation!
Now that your Cricut Mandala Clock is complete, you can enjoy your creation! This stunning clock is sure to be a showstopper in any room. Plus, you can proudly say that you made it yourself!Example
